Mild and humid
Moderate temperatures make Ucluelet an ideal travel destination year round. Ucluelet's weather is characteristically mild and humid. Moderate temperatures and high precipitation combine to produce a long growing season. This maritime climate results in a lush temperate rainforest ecosystem and freedom from extreme temperature changes which are common in other parts of Canada.
Activities such as hiking, beach combing, and surfing can be enjoyed year round. The spring and summer months provide calmer marine weather, perfect for ocean-based activities like sport fishing, kayaking, whale and wildlife viewing.
